Evening Standard (3 July 2019)
Shené designed a new shared bedroom for her two young children, McKenna and Grayson (who are also the inspiration behind MckennaGray Home Styling and Design) and entered her design into the 2019 Evening Standard Home Design Awards. She created a fun looking bedroom suitable for both her little boy and girl and was selected as a winner of the bedroom category. The judging panel included experts such as Janice Morley, editor of Homes & Property; Dan Hopwood, former president of the British Institute of Interior Design; and design journalist and author of Mad About The House Kate Watson-Smyth. The panel were particularly impressed by the clever use of neutrals for the shared space and also loved the neon lighting and geometric bedding.
